Two weekends ago as a continuation of my Bestie’s birthday celebration we drove to the best weekend getaway in Denmark – Lalandia. The weather couldn’t have been better. It felt like summer which just made our weekend absolutely perfect. Lalandia is amusement park mostly for families with kids, but as probably the biggest child of them all, it is one of my all time favorite places. It is entertaining and reinvigorating at the same time.

We were there for 2 and a half days and during that time we managed to enjoy the water slides, play mini-golf, hang out with goats, pet pony, jump on a trampoline,pay slot machines, go ice-skating, take a ferry ride to Germany, go shopping to a Designer Outlet near Hamburg, watch some cool TV shows in our cabin and relax. After we came back we felt so well rested as if we took a week long vacation and traveled  somewhere further away than just one and half hour by car. 🙂

Lalandia is simply a perfect getaway. There is so many different things that one can do and the fact that it is on the boarder with Germany makes it a perfect place to take a short trip across sea and go for some pretzels. 🙂 It is a great place to just unwind, enjoy nature, wear no makeup and be active when you feel like it. 🙂

This trip has become a must for us and we usually do it once per year, but we love it so much that we have started thinking that once per year is not enough. 🙂
