Princess of Bel Air

During our stay in Los Angeles we rented an amazing house just on a border between Beverly Hills and Bel Air. It was absolutely amazing to have a nice and big house with a heated swimming pool overlooking LA and with many different facilities as a hot-tub, big BBQ, laundry room, walk-in closet and even a gardener and a pool-boy. Totally crazy! 🙂 Even though I love our apartment in Copenhagen, I so could settle for moving into that house.:)

Staying in this house was one of the gifts for my 30th birthday and I have to say it was one of the best ones ever. Especially since while growing up one of my all time favorite TV shows were Beverly Hills and Prince of Bel Air so when I actually got to stay in this neighborhood and experience it first hand it was like a dream come true. I had to pinch myself that it was really happening, that I’m waking up there and walking up and down those streets. Even though walking up and down those streets it is not something I would recommend. The area is amazing with so many stunning houses that one can only see in the movies but there is not a side-walk and all the houses have signs for armed security so it feels a bit strange to be walking around. But one of the days I felt like I needed to take the advantage of this amazing neighborhood and take some pictures. As my jersey says I totally felt like a Perfect Little Princess – this time around Princess of Bel Air.

I also tried to match my outfit with my princessy feeling by opting for a tulle skirt and my stunning shoes that are just a bit uncomfortable but noone said fashion doesn’t hurt.:)

Enjoy!

P.S. As you might have noticed a blog name has changed to Dreaming in Pink. It is due to the fact that the former one was a bit complicated and I felt like it needed to be changed. And also Dreaming in Pink is what describes my life philosophy which is all about always staying positive and looking at the bright side.
