Our trip to San Francisco continued enjoying the most scenic route I have ever taken, highway 1. Before this, one of the most impressive scenic routes was driving down the seaside in the south of France, but this one was even more breathtaking.

We saw elephant seals, which are so super lazy but so super charming :), enjoyed some beautiful small towns on the road such as the town of Carmel &lots of sunshine.

After many hours on the road, taking a few very short breaks at the resting areas which were impressively well equipped, staying at some motels along the road which was a super unique experience, we reached San Francisco but more about it in the next post.
