Picturesque Istanbul markets

Since we are experiencing snow storm in Copenhagen at the moment and we are trapped inside, I decided to look through the photos of some warmer destinations that I visited this year.  I finally got around to sorting out some more photos from Istanbul.

The day that is captured in the photos was dedicated to the picturesque Istanbul markets, such as the Egyptian market and Grand Bazzar. Here you can find absolutely everything&anything. As they say in Serbia, you can find anything from a needle to a locomotive.

Of course we had to get something and after some time of wandering around and thinking what we could actually pack in our already quite full suitcases, we decided to go with something typical: a water pipe. It wouldn’t be a proper visit to Istanbul without bringing one of those babies home. 🙂

The whole market experience was so exotic. And I especially liked the Egyptian market. It was so colorful and full of many different and unusual things. If ever in Istanbul, I def recommend paying a visit to this place.

Hope you will enjoy these very colorful photos and that they will make you feel a bit warmer!
