There is one thing you should know about me. I’m absolutely but absolutely crazy about my bday. 🙂 It is hard to imagine that a grown up person can still get so excited about her bday, but in my case that is true. I look so much forward to that day that I start preparing for it a lot in advance. I get so excited and filled with joy and I can’t wait to blow out the bday candles (even though the number of them is getting bigger every year) and make a wish. I’m def still like a small child when it comes to my bday. 🙂
I have many traditions for my bday, but one of them is that I love to travel somewhere for that special occasion. This summer when I went to Berlin to visit the Barbie house (you can read about it here) and I fell in love with the city, I knew that I wanted to celebrate my bday there. To be more precise, in the most charming neighborhood of all for me – Mitte.
So, last weekend we went to Berlin for that most important day in the year. My bday.:) We had 3 days filled with indulgence, great time and laughter. Exactly what I wanted and hoped for. I couldn’t wish for a better bday celebration. This one will be hard to top. 🙂
I wanted to share some of the photos that show the things that marked my bday celebration the most this year. From shopping at my fave shop, to the one of the most amazing gifts ever (my new shoes), to my fave shots that we started the celebration with, my perfect bday outfit, to post celebration chillaxing. I also have to mention that all the photos were taken with one of many bday gifts that I got to myself 🙂 – my new Nokia Lumia 1020 and I was ab amazed how excellent they are.
Big thanks to all my friends and family for making me feel so special on this day. And the huge thanks goes to 2 persons who made me feel like a true princess this weekend. (I’m sure they will recognize themselves):)
Hope you will enjoy it&that you will get inspired for your bday celebration.
P.S. Remember your bday is not just a regular day in a year. It is the most special day and you should treat it as such. 🙂
