One of the spots in Copenhagen that I have just recently discovered my love for is def Christiania. When I was there many years ago this place left me feeling not at ease and I thought I would never go back there again. This is a place which is the last remaining Hippie spot with their own laws and rules. But don’t let that scare you away as it did me. 🙂 This summer, after living in DK for almost 5 years now, I decided that it is time to give it a second try . I have to say it was one of the best decisions. Ever since then, I keep going back because the place has such a great vibe and positive energy that you can’t help but feel relaxed. (other substances that happen to be in the air also help :))
Tucked away in the back, there is one of the probably best vegetarian restaurants in Copenhagen – Morgenstedet. They change their menu weekly so it is always a surprise what you are gonna get, which adds to the whole experience. Just a small tip, make sure you have cash on you if you decide to give this place a try since they don’t accept credit cards.
Taking photos in Christiania is not allowed in some areas, but I managed to take some here and there where it was allowed. You can also see the outfit that I chose to wear, a bit girly with a more rough twist to spice it all up a bit.
Enjoy!
P.S. Big thanks to my super talented friends and colleagues Milana, for taking most of the photos and Majken for being a perfect assistant to the photographer. We always have so much fun doing the photoshoots. ❤
