I had to do a post dedicated to my vintage shorts. 🙂 They def deserve a post of their own. I got them when I was 15 and I loved them ever since. For many years I couldn’t fit them and one year and half ago I couldn’t even dream about putting them on, since I had many many kilos more then I do now. So, this summer when I managed to fit them again after year and a half of exercising, changing my nutrition and my lifestyle, I was beyond happy and decided that it deserves a blog post. Putting them on was one of those moments when you realize that all that exercise and hard work that you were putting in, so many times when you didn’t even feel like doing it, when you were about to cry because it was so hard to do that last lap in your 3 km swimming routine, was worth it.
Yes, saying no to your fave ice-cream and french fries is hard but I absolutely believe that is worth it. That will not make you feel happier in the long run but eating healthy and caring about your body will. At least in my case. 🙂 And that feeling of fitting your fave clothes is priceless.
I also decided to share some of the photos of me on my Hawaii vacation in January 2012. These are the photos that made me realize that I have to change something in my daily routine and it worked. I believed that I would never shared these photos with the world but now I think I can share them as a proof of my victory over kilos. 🙂 And also as a valid evidence to all my friends who are saying that I wasn’t chubby back then. 🙂
P.S. Can you tell a difference? 🙂
